Snail Mail’s New Single Madonna + Live Version

Publicly known as Snail Mail (privately as Lindsey Jordan), the American singer-songwriter has released a brand new single today as a tiny teaser of her upcoming second album ‘Valentine’, due for release on November 5th via Matador. It’s the third instalment, following on from singles Ben Franklin and title track Valentine.

Not only were we treated with a new single, Snail Mail also uploaded a live recording of the song on her official YouTube channel, recorded at the Armour-Stiner Octagon House in Irvington, New York.

In a statement Snail Mail explained, “I am excited to share this one! In summation, it’s about why love can’t exist between a person and a concept of a person. Remove the pedestal and you might realise there was never anything there at all.”

If you’re in the UK and want to catch Snail Mail live, Jordan comes across the pond to go on tour in February of next year. In the US she has dates set for November and December 2021. The tour is as follows:

18th – Manchester, Academy 2
20th – Glasgow, QMU
22nd – Bristol, SWX
23rd – London, O2 Forum Kentish Town

You can pre-order ‘Valentine’ here.
